StarCraft II Marine [old drawing remake]

After seeing the announcement for the next StarCraft game, I figured it was the perfect time to post this illustration from last year here. Here’s a remastered version of a drawing I did back in 2013! A Terran Marine from StarCraft II, gifted to my brother—we used to play the game together back then 🎮
I was 21 in 2013, still in art school, and I remember being very proud of this drawing, thinking my art had reached its peak and that I couldn’t possibly do better than that in terms of quality. Well… 😬🥲 Twelve years later, I’m actually pretty proud of this new version, thanks to all the skills and knowledge I’ve gained over the years! And if my past self knew how we’d be drawing in 2025, he’d be really thrilled 😎
